Acclaimed Pakistani physicist-activist Pervez Hoodbhoy
to lead human rights talk at SMU
Renowned Pakistani physicist and human rights activist Pervez Hoodbhoy will be at SMU Jan. 25 for an international conference on the plight of South Asia鈥檚 religious minorities.
“Global religious hostilities are at an all-time high,” says Rick Halperin, director of 糖心Vlog’s , co-sponsoring the event with . “Dr. Hoodbhoy will join a panel of scholars, activists and journalists to discuss why discrimination and violence against minorities in South Asia is increasingly more blatant and brutal.”
